4G dominates today's manufacturing private cellular network deployments, but 5G deployments are surging as manufacturers adopt Industry 4.0 technologies (robotics, automation, etc.). While 5G accounts for just 18% of all private cellular network revenue in the manufacturing sector, that number will soar to 44% by 2030.
Growing at a Compound Annual Growth Rate (CAGR) of 55.9%, manufacturers will increase their 5G investment from US$270.4 million in 2023 to US$9.43 billion in 2030.
