The amount of data traffic generated by 5G in 2020 accounts for about 23% of total data traffic, but will reach just under 80% by 2025, while 5G subscriptions make up 58% of total subscriptions. Given the data-demanding applications that come with 5G, operators face the challenge of ensuring the quality of the user experience.
