RISC-V edge AI chipset shipments are expected to hit the market in full steam in 2024, with 1.8 million shipments expected by our analysts. Adoption of RISC-V architecture, thanks to the open source's flexibility, will surge throughout the decade as device vendors aim to support AI functionality. By 2030, ABI Research forecasts more than 129 million annual shipments of RISC-V edge AI chipsets, with personal/work devices and edge AI gateways accounting for 70% of total shipments.
