ABI Research forecasts total smart glasses shipments to increase from 5.9 million in 2024 to 114.1 million by 2030, spurred by rapid demand for immersive applications within the enterprise and consumer markets. ABI Research projects Wi-Fi and Bluetooth to be the most popular forms of smart glasses connectivity, forecast to maintain near parity shipment levels throughout the decade. Celular, while more nascent within the smart glasses than Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, will see a robust 114% CAGR between 2024 and 2030.
